Maplestory Boss Quest - [Heliseum] Another World (Magnus quest 1)

Gradis quest was used to be extreamely long length series but nowdays distictively shortened.

and the point of the quest what they saying about was become much more pointless. long story short for these quest series is you gonna help grandis head quater for preparation on against Magnus.

Hello, Certipo Persa. I contacted you regarding matters of the Alliance. You should already have an idea of what this is about. It's another world.

Yes, it's true there is a world other than Maple World. And not only is there another world, the people from there are living among us in Maple World.

From preliminary reports, it sounds like this other world is really not so different from Maple World.

I'll give you the details in Ereve. Please come to Ereve and talk to me if you're interested

*If you accept, you will move to Ereve.

You're here. Shall we continue discussing the other worlds?

According to our records, I have no doubt that there are other worlds outside of Maple World. One of them is a place called Grandis.

As I said, there are already people from Grandis in Maple World. Among them are people who have formed friendly relations with our Alliance, a race called the Nova.

We've been... united under a common enemy, Commander Magnus, who works for the Black Mage. He is a traitor to the Nova.

Until now, we've been too preoccupied with our own problems in Maple World to notice. But it seems this threat from another world has been lurking just out of sight the whole time.

Now that we're aware of the problem and on good terms with the Nova, we intend to rectify the oversight and learn all we can about Grandis

Which brings me to why we asked you here. I'm looking for someone to take on this mission.

The Nova are going to reclaim Heliseum, their capital, which was taken by Magnus. We need someone to go to Grandis to help them and gather information.

This request is not being made to everyone in the Alliance because we don't know what dangers lurk in the other world. However, I believe you can take this on, as you have sufficient courage, power, and the drive to challenge.

If you accept this mission, I will send you to the Interdimensional Portal to Grandis at Six Path Crossway. Go to Grandis and meet Beldar of the Nova Council. Make sure you are prepared before you set off.

*If you accept, you will move to Six Path Crossway.

Is this the Interdimensional Portal Neinheart mentioned...?

Let's use the Interdimensional Portal to go to Grandis.

Is this... Grandis?

You are correct. You must be from Maple World.

I heard someone may come to help the Nova.

My name is Fenelle, I'm a high priest of the Nova. Tisank you for going through the portal and coming all the way here. I hope the relationship between the Nova and the Alliance will continue to thrive.

We Nova left the capital, Heliseum, and have settled here in Pantheon. This is the great temple, where you'll find the Interdimensional Portal. So if you ever want to go back to Maple World, you can come here anytime.

Right. You must be here to see Beldar of the Nova council. You'll find him outside.

That appearance...a foreigner? I haven't seen your kind in Grandis before. I assume you have been sent by the Alliance? Glad to meet you. You crossed the dimensional barrier to help us. That means a lot.

More people are helping us, and not turning a blind eye to our hardship. How reassuring.

You already know, but that vile Magnus invaded and took over Heliseum, our capital. We've been using Pantheon as our base for a long time. until we can take the city back.

We've been slowly gathering our forces, along with powerful warriors like Kaiser or Angelic Buster, and we think we're finally ready to take on Magnus and reclaim Heliseum.

However, it wasn't easy as we thought... Magnus's Specter forces are too strong. We've been waiting for someone with courage like yours to join. With your help. we will defeat Magnus this time and reclaim Heliseum.

I've talked too much. We'll need you to join the main force. Tiron at the Transitional Dimensional Door will guide you to Heliseum Reclamation HQ. From there, you can talk to the two commanders.

Go up the stairs on the right, take the portal to Heliseum, and find Tiron near the Transitional Dimensional Door Good luck

Hello. You look like a foreigner... Oh, are you the warrior from Maple World?

Thank you for coming. *sob" Pardon me... The Reclamation HQ is in desperate need of power. Our plight moved me to tears......

Actually... Not long ago, Specters launched an ambush on Reclamation HQ. When our soldiers were cut off, Commanders Edea and Piston went out to rescue them.. *sniffle*

I'm sorry. Edea and Piston are more than capable, but I'm worried about the soldiers. Their numbers are dwindling...

First, you should support the rescue operation. I can guide you straight to the battlefield!

Thank you for helping. We were able to end this boring siege and rescue the soldiers.

I can't believe you took them all out just like that! And confusing them by dropping right into the middle of their encampment was a stroke of brilliance... I heard the Maple Alliance only sent the best of the best, and here you are--living proof!

Good to meet you. I'm the Nova's Supreme Commander, Edea. But you can just call me Edea. And this is...

I'm Chief Knight Piston! Looking forward to working with you!

Thank you for your help. Beldar informed me that you'll be joining us for Operation Free Heliseum.

Let me get you up to date on the situation at HQ.

I'm sorry to say this to someone who's been working to help the Reclamation HQ, but I'm sure you can see that the situation isn't good. This isn't the first time the Specters attacked, but we were not expecting such a large-scale surprise. I fear our intelligence is lacking. Er, info on the enemy, that is.

Actually, the HQ lacks many things. We took care of the most pressing needs, but there are already too many Specters camped near HQ. Before we start the actual reclaiming, we need to sort out the situation at HQ and rebuild.

That's what I wanted to share. You can get further details. on the reconstruction operation from Piston. Good luck.

We managed to hold off the Specters with the help of you Maple-Worlders. Now's the perfect time for a counterattack. You ready?

I'll be frank. The role of the Specter Battle Hound was enormous in the Specter ambush. We did our best to hide it, but those Battle Hounds sniffed out HQ and got us good.

I heard the Specter army has Specter Tamer monsters ready to go, and are mass-producing Specter Battle Hound monsters. The Specter Battle Hound monsters are the scouts deployed near the HQ front lines!

Please defeat as many of those mutts as you can! At least 50!

*If you accept, you will move to the field.

Good work with those hounds.

Thanks! Now only half of them will come back missing a leg! Hahaha!

One supply route has been re-established, but it's not enough! We need to sort out Forest of Choices on the map to keep our supplies moving!

Go to Forest of Choices and deal a blow to the Specter Shieldbearer monsters camped out there! It'll make all the difference if you can get rid of around 50!

*If you accept, you will move to the field.

You are very reliable! Good luck!

Did you teach those Specter Shieldbearer monsters a lesson? That was very quick! You're not even scratched!

Never imagined a warrior like you would join us at the Reclamation HQ! Thank you very much!

Did the mission go smoothly? Excellent, thank you. What a great help you've been to the Reclamation HQ. The front lines are more stable now, due to the Nova warriors, Maple World warriors, and many others playing an active part.

However, we are still sorely lacking in supplies right now because of how long we had to survive with broken supply lines. The enemy is mounting pressure, and we have more soldiers here to look after now.

Check in with Harpoon, our quartermaster, and help out with our supply problems.

Harpoon is outside the barracks. One of the twins is Harpoon.

Hello. Edea told me a lot about you--the foreigner who came to support the Nova. Good to meet you. I'm Quartermaster Harpoon of Heliseum Reclamation HQ.

Maroon here is my twin brother. You can tell us apart by our hair color, horns, and the equipment we normally use.

Word is you're here to help with the supplies. Thank you! Let's get you up to speed!

Food rationing was necessary while supplies to the Reclamation HQ were cut off. As a result, the soliders are very hungry. Before new supplies come in through the re-opened supply route, it would be great if you could get some extra rations for the soldiers.

Around 40 Dinogoth Tails will help the soldiers. Could you get them?

You'll find Dinogoth monsters near HQ on the Path to the Hill. I'll get some more bookkeeping done in the meantime. Be careful.

*If you accept, you will move to the field.

One, two, three... this should be perfect. There's plenty to go around. Thanks! We'll finally be having our fill today.

We still need more supplies, but I can do a lot with this meat. Extra tasty is good for morale!

The next supply we need is armor. I was worried about where to get lumber to make armor, but a great hero gave me a great idea. If we can't find it, we'll steal it!

Can you defeat the Specter Shieldbearers in the Forest of Choices and get about Specter Wooden Shield x40. Haha, good luck!

*If you accept, you will move to the relevant field.

One shield...two shields...perfect! Our soldiers will have the best gear on the battlefield! Thank you very much!

This should be enough supplies. Hehe... Steal it if you can't get it otherwise! I learned an important life lesson here.

It seems Edea has something to say. Why don't you go see her now that everything is done?

I hear you've been helping Reclamation HQ. They're doing a lot better now, thanks to you.

Now that we're less worried about supplies, we're going to focus on strengthening our fighting power. So we're planning to increase the training difficulty for soldiers.

Our soldiers learned everything they know from protecting Pantheon, Even so, they're unprepared for an opponent as strong as you. So I thought you'd make a good sparring partner!

Piston also assured me it would be effective. He even went so far as to say he'd like to spar with you. But that's unnecessary. What we really need is help training the soldiers.

Just remember that there's no need to run yourself ragged. Training takes time, and you can take as many breaks as you need. Ready for some sparring matches?

*If you accept, you will move to the relevant field.

This is the hero who's been helping us!

Are you ready for training?

Whoa!

There are more soldiers than I expected! Perfect! Now's your chance to really shine!

Then let's spar!

Excellent. The soldiers learned much from your power.

I'm sure this experience will be very helpful in reclaiming Heliseum later. Thank you.

Some of our soldiers here are pretty keen to spar with you. Looks like all the excitement has the side benefit of boosting morale!

And it's hard to ignore such an impassioned petition. Not only will it help training, but it'll also boost the morale of the soldiers. What could be more reassuring than knowing that someone as strong as you is on their side?

I'm sorry to ask you this, but... Can you help train the soldiers one more time? If you accept, I'll prepare for sparring.

*If you accept, you will move to the relevant field.

You ask, I deliver! I brought the great one you asked to spar with. Don't embarrass yourself!

Whoa!

We have even more people this time! Don't hold back! The soldiers' morale will get even higher!

Are you tired? I apologize for drawing you into this, but it was certainly effective. The morale of the soldiers is now sky-high, and even their skills seem improved. I'm certain it will all be helpful when we reclaim Heliseum.

Now we need to develop the strength of the soldiers through actual battle across many fields. I have another task for you in the meantime.

We are not done building our military strength. There is another way beyond merely training the soldiers, and it's creating a powerful weapon.

The Nova have a mighty weapon called the Blue Dragon Cannon. It can break a city wall in a single shot. However, it was mostly lost in the battle with Magnus.

It can be restored, if we have the right person for the job. We need Eurenth... He was once called a great sage of the Nova, but now is an old man living alone in his hut in the Forbidden Forest.

Find him, and inquire about how to restore the Blue Dragon Cannon. It won't be easy since...well, he's known to be rather petulant. Perhaps being a 'great sage' went to his head. These days, he stays in the forest and never comes out. Good luck getting him to cooperate.

Oh, don't mention me to Eurenth. There's a good chance he might be inspired to...do something mean.

Hmph! Who are you? You don't look like a Nova. But you aided Operation Free Heliseum?

I've always said it's essential to join forces with other races. I guess they're finally following my advice. That's the only way to reclaim anything.

So, what can I do for you? Sure I know how to restore the Blue Dragon Cannon. But I can't reveal that information to just anyone.

If you really want to know, you're gonna have to pass my test first.

You're going to take the test? You must be very confident. Well, I won't hold back then! You must steal the heart of my companion monster, Popo!

Popo isn't a normal monster! It can speak human. language! It gives its tears to those it likes... though I've never gotten them myself.

If you bring me Popo's Tears, that's proof that you're no ordinary person! I will help you, and tell you how to restore the Blue Dragon Cannon!

Hello, hello, I'm Popo, I live with Grandpa Eurenth.

I heard that you're the companion of Grandpa Eurenth.

Not a companion. Eurenth doesn't feed me. Not a companion if he doesn't feed me.

(So it's not a companion monster?)

How can I obtain your tears?

I lost the jewel I treasured most. The fierce Yellow Speeyors took my jewel. I'm a small monster...I can't beat the Yellow Speeyor.

If you recover my jewel from the Yellow Speeyor, I will give you my tears.

Did you get the jewel instead of Popo?

(Crunch! Popo ate the jewel like candy.)

(It was edible?!)

Mmm, delicious! So sour! So spicy! I was worried the Yellow Speeyors would eat it. I will gladly give you my tears as thanks!

Grandpa Eurenth didn't live alone like this in the past. After the Nova ignored his advice and lost the capital, he hid himself in this forest. That is when I decided I didn't want to give my tears to him anymore.

I want him to change his thinking, and do more things that help people, and also reconcile with his student. I don't want to see him holding a grudge forever.

Is that Popo's Tears?!

It gave you its tears Amazing. I have no choice, then.

All right. I'll show you how to restore the Blue Dragon Cannon. I was going to hold onto these instructions until the stupid Nova council begged for it, but a promise is a promise. They're all yours.

Take it to Edea at Reclamation HQ! Hurry!

I should have known Edea sent you. She was my student a long time ago But who else knows that I know how to restore the Blue Dragon Cannon?

Did you get the instructions to restore the Blue Dragon Cannon? Haha. Great job! I knew you could convince that old codger to give them up..

Yes, I used to be Eurenth's student. But I lost a lot of respect for him back when he started neglecting his duties as great sage.

Anyway, shall we start restoring the Blue Dragon Cannon?

I looked into how to restore the Blue Dragon Cannon. Naturally, it's not gonna be easy. I mean, it's a cannon that responds to a person's will after all. And Reclamation HQ doesn't have the resources to produce a lot of them, so parts are hard to come by.

We can get most of this without too much trouble, but the amplifier--that'll be difficult. The materials we need don't even exist in Pantheon. We've always had to trade for them.

But all of our trade routes were disrupted when Heliseum fell, and it'll take too long to create a new one.

"sigh" We have no choice but to trade with the Shadowdealers. Do you know anything about them?

As the name suggests, the Shadowdealers operate in the shadows of Grandis, but they have incredible reach. I heard they were the ones who delivered the Vision Bomb to the High Flora.

That's not to say they support the High Flora. No, the Shadowdealers are only in it for the money. In fact, they'd sell their own souls if you made a good offer. I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them, but it seems this is our only option,

The Shadowdealers have made several lucrative offers to the Nova recently, so I'm sure they'll be happy to hear we're finally interested. Why don't you meet with them and see if we can come to some kind of arrangement?

Here. Take this receiver. You can use it at the merchant meet-up spot to call them. Good luck

You're still planning to get that amplifier for the Blue Dragon Cannon, right? I certainly can't I'm working on all the other parts we need for the cannon.

This transmitter code is Edea? You finally decided to trade with us!

(I say that I'm not Edea.)

What? You're not Edea? Then who are you? Why do you have the receiver I gave to the Nova's Supreme Commander?

Edea entrusted me with the trade.

Oh, Edea's too busy to deal with the likes of us, huh? I suppose you'll do instead... as long as I'm making profit.

But the interference is really bad, Hold on. This'll be easier in person.

(The receiver goes silent.)

Player have to go to see the Tonero to trade with him something.
